We planned to have Tour A and Tour C for this trip but Tour C was canceled by the coast guard because of the current strong wind and waves. There’s other options to try, Tour B and Tour D but we decided to go for the Inland Tour instead.
Our trycycle driver Kuya Dan offered us PHP1,000 for “In Land Tours” whole day. We asked him if he can fetch us at 10AM in the hotel and he arrives on time.
This was our last day in El Nido, we had our breakfast at Doublegem Beach Resort. We had an early morning dip in the pool and we played basketball. I was amazed! EJ shoot the ball in his first try.
Our itinerary that day was for Nacpan and Marimegmeg Beach only, there are other activities/attractions you can do/visit in El Nido such as Nagkalit-kalit Falls, Taraw Cliff (Canopy Walk) and Las Cabanas Beach Zipline, etc.
It took us 45 minutes to travel to Nacpan Beach, there’s part of the road that was rocky but the long travel was worth it.
First, Kuya Dan stopped us at the tourist information booth and we paid PHP50.00 each. We hope that they can use this money to create a clean public toilet soon.
Then, he brought us to the restaurant. There’s few eating place and we waited for almost 30 minutes for our lunch. We bought some snacks first while waiting.
It is a beautiful long white sand beach, the water is clear and shallow, and there are some small waves to enjoy. The beach is large and not overly crowded. Local kids asked us if they can sing Christmas carols and I sang with them.
We spent a good 3-4 hours there and enjoyed ourselves a lot. If you are a beach person this is a recommended side trip from El Nido.
It was already 4PM when we reached Marimegmeg Beach. This beach is close to our hotel. You need to go down the stairs before reaching the beach. Upon arriving there was a small bar at one end selling beer and coconuts.
The water is peaceful. The water is not as clear as Nacpan Beach but good for swimming.
